The New York Times reported separately this week that at least one government informant met several times with Carter Page and George Papadopoulos, both former foreign policy advisers on Mr Trump's Republican campaign.

"Just as I promised the American people from this podium 11 months ago, we enacted the biggest tax cuts and reform in American history", President Donald Trump said during his State of the Union address Tuesday night.

Giuliani told The Washington Post and other news organisations on Wednesday (Thursday NZT) that the special counsel's team informed the president's attorneys recently that prosecutors do not believe they can charge a sitting president with a crime under Justice Department guidelines, signalling they would leave it to Congress to address any possible findings of wrongdoing by Trump.

"Andrew McCarthy says, 'There's probably no doubt that they had at least one confidential informant in the campaign.' If so, this is bigger than Watergate!" He said the legal team is "pretty comfortable, in the circumstances of this case, that they wouldn't be able to subpoena him personally". If so, this is bigger than Watergate!

Trump's tweets followed a New York Times report about operation "Crossfire Hurricane", in which the Obama administration's FBI investigated Trump's campaign.

WWE spokeswoman Annie Kruger told Sporting News in March that the company intended on unveiling their new TV partners sometime between May and September.

"The only Collusion was that done by Democrats who were unable to win an Election despite the spending of far more money!" As Giuliani blasted Comey as a "damn liar" and a leaker, which devolved into a argument about the legality of the former FBI director's actions, and whether his firing was the catalyst for Robert Mueller's investigation.

On Wednesday night, Trump's newest lawyer Rudy Giuliani was talking about it on Fox News, telling Laura Ingraham that the Federal Bureau of Investigation "possibly plac [ed] a spy in the Trump campaign".

"We're trying to get [Mueller] to end this", Giuliani said. They were apparently part of the FBI's frenzied, secretive effort to determine whether the Trump campaign was colluding with the Russian government while taking pains not to influence the election results.

"It's about time to say enough".
