The leaked documents, which ended up in the hands of Stormy Daniels' lawyer Michael Avenatti, show that Cohen used the shell company, Essential Consultants LLC, to receive large payments from a number of firms before the 2016 election.
Rudy Giuliani, who recently began providing legal representation for Trump, said in a Fox News interview earlier this month that Trump reimbursed Cohen.
Trump has previously denied knowing about that payment or reimbursing Cohen.
A footnote to disclosures submitted Tuesday to the Office of Government Ethics said Cohen had incurred "expenses" on Trump's behalf in 2016 of between $100,001 and $250,000.

The president's tax returns would give a clear picture, but Trump has broken with tradition by refusing to make them public.
