Taylor Swift hints at end to long-standing feud with Katy Perry


Katy Perry has sent Taylor Swift a literal olive branch to signify the apparent end of their feud, effectively bringing one of the biggest pop culture bust-ups of our time to a close.

Tay posted a short vid showing off a gift she just got from Perry, with the caption "Thank you Katy" and some heart emojis.

The fight, which started as a dispute over back up dancers, has dominated the personal and professional lives of the two singers for more than four years and played out in their songs.

That simmering feud burst into the spotlight with Swift's huge 2014 track Bad Blood, and Perry's retort in 2017's Swish Swish. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.

Katy opened up about the feud a year ago, speaking to The Thrive Global Podcast, saying she was "ready to let it go". "I really want to clear the air..." before it's covered. She added, "I think personally that women together, not divided.will heal the world".
