Woods has revealed that he will play at the Wells Fargo Championship which will take place between May 3 and May 6. "We're working on a couple things".
Woods, a victor of the event back in 2007 when it was known as the Wachovia Championship, has also announced he will follow up his Wells Fargo outing by appearing at the Players Championship - scene of the second to last of his 79 PGA Tour wins.
This will be his seventh start in the tournament at Quail Hollow, which hosted last year's PGA Championship won by Justin Thomas.
The Wells Fargo is rolling out new attractions next week, including a concert, wine bar and special lounge for Wells Fargo customers.
United States crude oil inventories increases as prices edge up
Another bullish factor supporting oil prices has been declining output in Venezuela , OPEC's biggest producer in Latin America. United States crude production rose by 46,000 bpd on the previous week, to 10.59-million bpd.
Woods will be making his first start since a T32 at the Masters in early April.
Woods is also expected to play in The PLAYERS Championship the week after the Wells Fargo, though he has not yet officially committed to that event.
Woods, who competed in only one PGA Tour event in the past two seasons while dealing with back injuries, returned in January and has had some impressive performances already in 2018. He now sits at No. 91 in the world rankings.
