It's been a little over a month since OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T started testing Android 8.1 Oreo as part of the company's Open Beta program. OxygenOS 5.1.0 is the stable build of the firmware earlier in the beta testing and brings a host of new features such as updated system settings, tweaks to the Gaming mode and improvements to the Launcher.

The updates come with new features and bug fixes as well. The OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T recently received an update to Android 8 Oreo and a new version of OxygenOS is now seeding for the two smartphones. Sadly, OnePlus 5 users will not get the same navigation key update since this phone is based on off-screen navigation keys that appear just below the screen of the phone. Of all the changes listed by OnePlus, only one is exclusive to the OnePlus 5T. It has also added a network boost feature during Gaming mode, where a network priority is given to the gaming app, which is running. As far as the OnePlus Launcher is concerned, the company has added category tags in the search section of the app drawer, and the launcher will also auto-name folders based on category now.
