FIFA task force arrives to inspect 2026 candidate Morocco

Commenting on the long-awaited visit, president of the bid committee Moulay Hafid Elalamy stated that "Morocco is innovative and compact concept to ensure operational efficiency, outstanding profitability and a lasting legacy in Morocco and Africa".

Morocco's bid committee said in an statement that the task-force will visit with stadiums as well as several towns involving April 1719, training peaks and buff sites, along with venues.

The executives in charge of the Morocco 2026 World Cup bid know that this week is crucial to determine the fate of their work. Should a bid not meet a minimum score on a number of different points, it will be disqualified before the final vote on June 13 in Moscow.

As happened with the United bid during the Federation Internationale de Football Association inspection of Mexico, United States and Canada, no media will be able to attend this inspection visit in Morocco.

Morocco&rsquo bidding plays greatly on the country's enthusiasm for soccer and its own fan civilization, because of its proximity to both Europe, its compact size along with environment. "South Africa has the experience and Morocco will use this experience to win the 2016 bid", added Bell.

Former Cameroon goalkeeper Joseph Antoine Bell said Morocco had all the ingredients of hosting another spectacular Fifa World Cup.
