Due to the nature of causality, we must announce that the Nintendo Switch version of #DarkSoulsRemastered will be pushed back to summer of 2018, and with it, the release of the Solaire of Astora amiibo. Remastered will deliver "unique capabilities" for the Switch version and dynamic 4K resolution to the PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and on Steam.

The PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One, and STEAM versions of DARK SOULS: REMASTERED will be released on May 25, 2018.

There will be more time to prepare for Dark Souls. Sadly, Switch players will be left hanging to dry for a few more months.

Bandai Namco this morning dropped off a bit of bad news for Nintendo Switch owners counting the days until Dark Souls: Remastered launches. And it's not just Dark Souls Remastered that will be delayed. It would seem that whatever issue has occurred, it only impacts the Switch edition.

PC/PS4/X1 versions will maintain their May 25th release date. When we learn either of those details, you guys will be the first to know!
