Sony's new phone wants to wow you with its camera

The front camera also offers 5-axis image stabilisation, ISO 3200 sensitivity for photo, and ISO 1600 sensitivity for videos. The screen might be featured in the 16:9 aspect ratio and not the 18:9 screens that we are so used to seeing, but there is also a reason for that and you will soon be finding out why. The 4K display supports high-dynamic range, and has a pixel density of 759 pixels per inch. The Premium is still running a Snapdragon 845 processor, but there's now 6GB of RAM (up from 4GB) to help with the extra performance demands. It honestly does not get better than this in the specifications department. Dimensions measure 158 x 80 x 11.9 mm and it weighs 236g. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, which was expected from a device like this.

Talking about the specifications, there is a 5.8-inch 4K (2160 x 3840) display on the front with HDR playback support. You will get immersive user experiences at lightning-fast connection speeds (up to 1.2Gbps) with the second generation Gigabit LTE solution. Qi charging is enabled to power up effortlessly and works with the new wireless charging dock (WCH20 [vi]) and other compatible Qi chargers. The phone is IP65/68 dust and water resistant as well. It also provides support for Bluetooth 5.0 plus NFC and you can watch 4K HDR content on the handsome display.

"Given the strength of the existing Xperia XZ range, specifically the XZ2, XZ2 Compact, and XZ Premium, there are now no plans for widespread ranging of the handset [XZ2 Premium] in the United Kingdom and Ireland". It ships with a USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter in the box.

IPL 2018: Struggling KKR Look To Get Together Against Buoyant Delhi Daredevils
Kolkata Knight Riders will play their next IPL clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad at home on April 14. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and the other bowlers, backed up by excellent catching, laid the foundation.

One of the main highlights of purchasing this flagship is undoubtedly going to be its camera.

On the front, there is a 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture which is a big step up from 5MP front camera of the XZ2. Videos hit highs of 12,800 ISO. While it will have a dedicated black and white mode and a portrait mode (also known as the Bokeh effect that softly blurs the background to make the subject pop), Sony says these will roll out sometime in "Q3" to Sony's global markets, so sometime between June and September.

This move now puts Sony in direct competition with the likes of Samsung and Huawei's latest flagship smartphones. The advanced camera technology on Xperia XZ2 Premium is thanks to the new dual sensor system in the Motion Eye Dual camera and AUBE™ fusion image signal processor that captures more than the human eye can see.
