Man arrested for stealing vehicle with 9-year-old in back seat

Nero, the police dog wounded in the Thursday incident that took the life of his handler, Yarmouth police Officer Sean Gannon, continues to recover from his injuries, according to a Facebook post by the Yarmouth Police Department.

According to police, a man named Lalji Yadav informed at police control room that he is working as driver of Government Bolero Jeep registration number MP-02RD-2016 of SDM, Ranjhi.

Those arrested, Mr Daplah said, had been charged based on Section 275 of the Criminal Offences Act 1960 (Act 29).

Police did not immediately release any information about a possible relationship between the woman and the suspects.

The woman was walking behind a business in the 200 block of Castro Street when two men approached her, police said in a statement.

Two years later, police now believe that Berger is responsible for the woman's death.

Police alleged the man had breached a condition regarding his whereabouts by being outside his ex-girlfriend's residence.

When officers arrived, they reportedly asked the men to leave the premises on three occasions.

The man, whose identity can not be released as the charges relate to offences when he was covered by the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was charged with breach of probation for being outside his residence without his surety and breach of youth probation for failing to keep the peace. The youths attacked the police station where they freed some of their members who were arrested by the police.

He was offered bail of $5,000, and will be back in court on May 7.

He disclosed that some police operatives had been arrested and were being interrogated.
