Kolkata Knight Riders will play their next IPL clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad at home on April 14.

The home side never really got going following the break, paceman Stanlake striking in the first over after play resumed courtesy of a great catch from Manish Pandey at point.

A composed innings from Williamson, who struck a six and another four boundaries, put Sunrisers well on their way to victory and Pathan finished it off by hooking Andre Russell over square leg for six.

Kumar (3/26) - returning to the team after recovering from a sore back - was ably supported by pacer Billy Stanlake (2/21) and Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan (2/21) also taking two wickets. He has been impressive in 50-overs cricket, with 33 wickets in 19 matches at an average of 21.27 and an economy rate of 4.74, his best performances including a match-winning 3 for 37 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy final against Saurashtra in February.

After much success opening the innings, KKR chose to drop Narine down the order, according to head coach Jacques Kallis, to get quick runs in the middle overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad will be for the first time playing away from their home crowds, and with almost 40,000 screaming Kolkatta fans they will have to be psychologically prepared.

Oladipo drops 32 as Pacers beat Cavs in opener
Following the win, Oladipo said he wasn't bothered by Gilbert's comment, but did admit that it "added fuel to the fire". Oladipo has thrived in Indiana's offense and has set career highs in points, assists and rebounds this past season.

KKR captain Dinesh Karthik was not happy with his batsman.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and the other bowlers, backed up by excellent catching, laid the foundation. It is uncertain whether the purple cap holder from the last two editions will make it for this game, but Sandeep Sharma adequately covered for Kumar. Any/all of the five bowlers at Williamson's disposal are worthy picks, while the rest of the batting is a risk. (Tom) Curran bowled well considering it was his first game. Sunrisers won both the games they played against RR and MI.

Sunrisers Hyderabad needs 139 runs to win from 20 Overs. For KKR, Narine picked two wickets.

Rana hit Stanlake firmly just wide of Pandey, who showed incredible reaction to grab it on the second attempt and give SRH the breakthrough in four balls after play resumed.
