Baaghi 2 enters the Rs 150 crore club

Co-Produced by Fox Star Studios and Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner name Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, it is directed by Ahmed Khan and is running successfully worldwide. The mass pockets and single screens remain the main contributors for the film where it has no major competition (October is working mainly in the multiplexes).

The movie emerged as one surprise hits of the year.

Woolworths hit by nationwide technical outage
In a statement, Woolworths said the outage was related to an IT systems update before registers came back online by about 4.30pm. It's unclear how wide-spread the issue was, though by social media it's clear that Victoria, NSW and Queensland were affected.

"Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, tweeted the figures on social media, captioning, "#Baaghi2 has fared very well Overseas. [Week 3] Friday 1.75 crore, Saturday 2.50 crore, Sunday 2.95 crore. Their first film together, Baaghi 2, is shattering records at the box office and how! The slick action sequences in the film, however, were appreciated. Baaghi 2 has become the second film of 2018 to cross the Rs 150-crore mark behind Padmaavat.

Baaghi 2 is the official remake of Telugu mystery thriller Kshanam that released in 2016. Worldwide gross box office: Rs 243.37 crore.

The movie has an ensemble star cast with the likes of classic actors such as Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda, Deepak Dobriyal, Darshan Kumar, Prateik Babbar playing pivotal parts.
