Huawei has been India for many years now, but for the past few years has been nearly exclusively operating under the Honor branding, with next to no pure Huawei branded phones being launched in India. Now, Huawei India has begun teasing the launch of the P20 via its twitter account which suggests the launch could happen soon. Huawei India has posted a tweet with a teaser showing triple camera setup on a smartphone. Huawei launching the P20 will come as a delight for fans in India seeing as how the last flagship from the company was the P9 that launched in India two years ago. According to a report in GSMArena, Huawei is most likely to launch the devices in the last week of April. There is also no word on the Indian pricing as well. Given the phones' global pricing, it's safe to assume that they won't be cheap for sure.
The Huawei P20 has been priced at Euro 649 which approximately converts to Rs 52,200. The price of the smartphone is expected to be Rs. 63,990 in India. For reference, we expect the Huawei P20 Pro to be priced closer to the Samsung Galaxy S9. If the company decides to launch both the devices in India, this might be the price at which we get to see these devices.
The P20 Pro boasts having a triple camera setup on its rear panel - the first of its kind in the mainstream market. Both the P20 and P20 Pro also bring a brand new design language for the company.
