Nigeria's President Negotiating the Release Of 100 Abducted Schoolgirls

Following the sack of US Secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, Reno Omokri former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has urged President Donald Trump and American leaders to avoid visiting Nigeria.

The kidnapping is one of the largest since the jihadist group Boko Haram abducted more than 270 schoolgirls from the northeastern town of Chibok in 2014.

Tillerson was in Abuja, Nigeria's capital yesterday, where he pledged the support of the United States in securing the quick release of the Dapchi and remaining Chibok schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram terrorists.

The Foreign Affairs Minister clarified that the statement attributed to the Nigerian government on degrading Boko Haram, had referred to the insurgent's military capabilities admitting that Nigeria is still coming to terms with how to contain the asymmetric warfare Boko Haram is presently engaged in.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the meeting started shortly after Tillerson's arrival at the State House, Abuja around 4.07 p.m.
