Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor return after Sridevi's prayer meet in Chennai

Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi are just inconsolable and close friends from the industry including Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor, Manish Malhotra turned up to be by the side of the family.

The condolence meet was held by the South Indian Artists Association and celebrities like Jyothika, Suriya, Prabhudheva, Arun Vijay, Radhika Sarathkumar, Suhasini Mani Ratnam and Latha Rajinikanth attended the prayer meet to pay their last respects to the screen Goddess. Sridevi was born in Sivakasi (Tamil Nadu) on August 13.

It's clear Sridevi is still being heavily mourned as her family continue to honour the memory of the Bollywood actress as much as they possibly can almost, three weeks after she passed away on 24 February, after accidentally drowning in a Dubai hotel. "Sridevi was an inspiration to all of us and all in the family loved her very much". Both actors had attended Sridevi's funeral in Mumbai and had met Boney Kapoor and family members. Sridevi was in UAE for nephew Mohit Marwah's (son of Reena and Sandeep Marwah) wedding.

Tributes were paid to Indian cinema icon Sridevi here by a host of stars of the south India film industry, which gave her career a start before she became a star in Bollywood. She was cremated with state honours.
