An FIR was lodged against Shami with the Jadavpur PS in South Kolkata. "I've learnt from the Kolkata Police that they have included a non-bailable section against Shami and are starting a case against him", Jahan's lawyer Zakir Hossain confirmed.
"BCCI is doing some internal checks and they said they would get back to us soon".
However, later the case was taken over by Lalbazar Police HQ.
Currently, Shami is at his ancestral residence in Amroha, UP. We had earlier seen people trolling and slamming him for posting photos of his wife on Facebook and Twitter. "Those who are complaining will need to prove the allegations", he asserted. These were read with bailable section323 (causing hurt) & 506 (criminal intimidations).
Hasin has even alleged that Shami is involved in match-fixing and said that if he can cheat me, he can cheat the country as well..
"Learn From Ghanaian President" PDP Tells Buhari
Speaking further, President Buhari lauded the efforts of the Ghanaian government in tackling corruption and especially, the quick passage of the Office of the Special Prosecutor Act and its signing into law.
Among the many allegations, Jahan also alleged Shami of forcing her into a room with his elder brother. The charges were levelled against five members of the cricketer's family. She also posted some random women pictures claiming they were his husband's girlfriends. "I will reveal those when I need to", Jahan told the media.
Things started getting worse when Jahan chose to face the media and gave various interviews showing printouts of various Facebook and WhatsApp chats claiming that they belong to Shami who has sexual relations with numerous Indian and global women.
Hasin Jahan in her statement said that Shami has been treated her with cruelty and threatened to divorce her and marry someone else, but she will not sign the divorce papers so easily and expose him totally. The two tied the knot in 2014.
Mr. Shami was dropped from a list of contracted players for the national team announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India on 8 March. I am ready to face any investigation. "I don't know what she is up to". Now she is suddenly levelling all these accusations on me. "But nothing has materialised". "I am a law-abiding citizen, so I will seek legal recourse".
In Jahan's words, "Everyone in their family used to torture me". She also stated that Shami on her way back from South Africa made a decision to stay back in Dubai though rest of his team-mates returned to India, and from those chats, she discovered that he had planned to meet a girl from Pakistan at airport and also checked into a hotel on February 18 with her.
