Fiat Reveals Special-Edition Abarth 124 GT With A Carbon-Fiber Roof

Abarth will introduce a new special edition 124 at the Geneva Motor Show, sporting a lightweight, removable hardtop roof.

The vehicle rides on unique 17-inch OZ Racing wheels for a 3kg weight saving over the standard auto, and there are some choice exterior modifications - including a matte-black bonnet, carbon-fibre spoiler and carbon mirror caps - to set the GT apart from the regular Abarth 124. Also available are carbon fibre rear spoiler and carbon fibre or red mirror caps.

Abarth says the roof, which weighs just 16kg, helps improve the "compactness" and torsional rigidity of the auto.

Omarosa found 'Big Brother' house a 'great reprieve' after working for Trump
As for how she feels about her loyalty to Trump, Manigault-Newman said, "Look, Donald Trump was my friend for 15 years". That led Colbert to ask Omarosa if she knew what the lies were, prompting another laugh.

Based on the Abarth 124 Spider, the 124 GT is finished in Alpi Orientali Grey with a matte blackout treatment for the hood, mimicking its rallying counterpart. It's lined on the inside and has a large rear window with a defroster. It is also said to improve thermal insulation and help with soundproofing. The "Record Monza" sports exhaust system is equipped as standard, while both six-speed manual and six-speed automatic versions of the 124 GT will be available.

More so, aside from the special edition, the performance division will also host the reveal of the Abarth 695 Rivale as another statement of the partnership between the Italian manufacturer and yacht specialist Riva. Meanwhile, the new Abarth 695 Rivale special edition is all about retro styling, adding a two-tone shade of Riva Sera Blue and Riva Shark Grey with aquamarine stripes and some satin chrome trim for good measure. Be sure to let us know your thoughts below, and we will update you as soon as it debuts at the Geneva Motor Show.
