Scottish police question French players after brawl reports

A message sent at 11.46am from the French Rugby Federation's official Twitter account confirmed that some players were being questioned by police, adding: "We are waiting for further information".

Scottish police are now questioning members of the French rugby team about an alleged fight in Edinburgh last night, according to reports.

The flight, which was due to leave at 11am, eventually took off from Edinburgh Airport at 1pm with all the players believed to be on board.

Jacques Brunel's side were leading the hosts for much of Sunday's game, only to surrender their advantage in the closing stages and slip to a second successive defeat in this NatWest Six Nations.
