Disney ticket prices on rise in Orlando

Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and Disneyland in Anaheim, California, are raising ticket prices by several dollars starting Sunday. New admission prices to the theme park - a popular destination during Mardi Gras for many in the New Orleans area - are effective Sunday (Feb. 11).

At Disney World, prices for "value" days increased to $109 for adults and $103 for children - a $2 uptick - and prices for tickets during regular days increased to $119 for adults and $113 for children - a $4 increase, according to the Associated Press.

The hike comes after Disney reported increased attendance at its theme parks in its first-quarter. During peak times, expect to pay $129 for a single-day ticket.

Trump said much the same about Porter in remarks to reporters Friday, in which he praised Porter's job performance. In Porter's case, both of his ex-wives told a news publication that he had physically and verbally abused them.

The Florida-resident Platinum pass, with has no block out dates, now costs $729, up from $679. A single-day regular ticket now cost $114, a $7 increase from previous year.

Disneyland is holding the value-season price for a one-day, one-park ticket steady at $97 and is actually dropping the price of a one-day Park Hopper on value-season days by $10, from $157 to $147. Disneyland's lowest-priced (and most restricted) annual pass, the SoCal Select, is going up by almost nine percent, while the unrestricted Signature Plus, which includes free parking and Disney's Maxpass online ride reservation system, is going up by almost 10 percent, to $1,149 a year. Theoretically, this program would prevent the parks from becoming overcrowded during the busiest seasons.

Disney also plans to sell multi-day tickets with date-specific pricing later this year. Standard parking will now cost $22 per day, while preferred parking will cost $45 per day.
