Game Preview: Golden State Warriors at Toronto Raptors

Call it a crisis.

We give a lot of grief, usually deserved, to officials across all sports when they screw up.

Without both their starting point guard and backup point guard in the lineup - and were both given the night off to rest - Cleveland built a 22-point lead, had its best defensive quarter of the season by holding in to 12 points in the opening frame and kept the Pacers to 97 points overall (far better than the 127, 127 and 133 the, and hung on them the previous three games).

The Pacers are a fascinating team this season.

If the Raptors' rout of the rival Cleveland Cavaliers was a clash of styles, then their game Saturday against the visiting Golden State Warriors will be more like the students taking on the masters. IN shut out the Cavs over the final 3:57 and twice stopped James when he could have given the Cavs the lead.

Sitting out the fourth quarter, James led the Cavs with 26 points, going 9-of-16 from the field, with three rebounds and an assist.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have arguably one of the deepest rosters in the league this season, but much like last season, they have been struggling on the defensive end and they will have to address the problem if they want to book another trip to the National Basketball Association (NBA) finals.

Of course, they lost that 22-point lead, accounting for their biggest collapse of the season. I played two good years with them.

There's no question that something needs to change with this team.

Will Barton led the way for the Nuggets with 17 points, while Trey Lyles came off the bench to net 16.

The Bull Case for Applied Materials, Inc. (AMAT)
Lakeview Capital Partners LLC bought a new stake in shares of Applied Materials during the third quarter valued at about $213,000. D E Shaw & Com Inc invested in 0% or 157,116 shares. (The Scale is from 1-5 where 1 means Strong Buy and 5 means Strong Sell).

Marc Gasol scored a game-high 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Memphis.

DeMar DeRozan, who's been on a scoring tear as of late, finished with just 13 points on 5-of-13 shooting.

After falling behind 6-4, the Cavs went on a 22-0 run in the first quarter.

Going into Thursday, he was 126 points shy of 30,000 for his career.

IN played without starting center Myles Turner for the second straight game.

Even when there was only seconds left, Stephenson was still at it. The Warriors, who played without point guard Stephen Curry (ankle) for the second straight game, have won six of their past seven games overall.

Anthony Davis scored 36 points and added nine rebounds in the Pelicans' 119-113 win over the Trail Blazers, but his team-mate DeMarcus Cousins was as good or better with 24 points, 19 boards and eight assists.

"If guys have agendas", Lue said, "we've got to get rid of our agendas and play the right way". "They've still got DeRozan, who's averaging (32) points a game over his last (six)".

"We're a veteran team and we know what we're capable of, and it can't be so easy for us to get in those lulls and not try to dig ourselves out of them", Cavaliers forward Kevin Love told ESPN prior to the Toronto loss.
