Falcons lead Eagles 10-9 in 3rd quarter of NFC playoff game

In the Eagles' favor, dome teams have not fared well in the cold in the playoffs in recent history.

Many in the Philadelphia Eagles organization and outside feel that this team is not in a dire situation with Foles under center. He was a fantastic addition to the team at the trade deadline, and would have been a complementary piece to Wentz's offense that had the Eagles as sure-fire favorites to make the Super Bowl. He will, without a doubt, need to be the one that keeps the even keel. Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers have had a soap opera-like season, but they are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games at this stage of the playoffs. But in the end, he was every bit as efficient as he needed to be to propel the Eagles to the NFL Championship Game next weekend. Atlanta has playoff experience and a loaded offense, while Nick Foles has been unimpressive in his final two games of the season. Agholor was plagued by dropped passes in 2016, along with many other Eagles' wide receivers, and he reached a big low point when he finished the 2016 matchup versus the Seattle Seahawks with zero receptions for zero yards and dropped a pass that looked like it would've been a 40-yard reception for a touchdown.

The Falcons (11-7) were actually favored to knock off the NFC's top seed, because the Eagles offense has sputtered since starting quarterback Carson Wentz tore his ACL in a Week 14 win over the Rams. Winning in Philadelphia is no easy task.

As bad as Foles was for the Eagles in the first half, the Birds also didn't have much luck. The electricity in the stadium will be off the charts. Against the Eagles, the Falcons had 59 plays and only 20 were runs.

Philadelphia started the quarter with the ball.

Four years ago, of course, it was Nick Foles under center for the Eagles when they lost to the Saints in the playoffs. "We want to make noise while we're here". Atlanta averaged 364.8 yards per game and allowed 318.4.

Google Duo Spotted Working on Android Smartphones Without the App Installed
Well, that's not a problem anymore, as now you can make Duo calls to even those who don't have the app installed on their devices. But, most of the Google messaging apps are caught up in a hitch at this stage, pushing few users towards either Allo or Duo .

While the Eagles defensive backs will have to contain Sanu and Jones, they can not let someone else - like receivers Taylor Gabriel or Justin Hardy or tight end Austin Hooper (those three have combined for seven touchdowns this season) - beat them. His fourth-down pass to Julio Jones in the corner of the end zone fell incomplete, though, giving the Eagles their first postseason win since the 2008 season.

Going back to the Andy Reid era, Philadelphia has always had a strong special teams unit.

Who We Like: Philadelphia. Now this team is suddenly playing as an underdog. They are fast. They are flying to the football. Fletcher Cox has been vocal about proving the naysayers wrong.

I still think this game comes down to Nick Foles.

One of the keys to the turnaround has been the performance of the defense, which only forced three turnovers in their first six games. Gus Bradley, who preceded Falcons coach Dan Quinn as Seattle's defensive coordinator, was Jacksonville's coach in both games against Foles.

In case you're already looking ahead to the least-likely quarterback showdown, there's a 2.8 percent chance Foles faces Blake Bortles in the Super Bowl.
