Out of all of the hilarious things that happened at this week's Golden Globes, one of our favourites was when Meryl Streep found Mariah Carey in her seat.

"It wasn't on objective!" Leave it to Streep, however, to craft a creative solution so both she and Mariah could sit.

Meryl Streep actually tells Jimmy Kimmel that she offered to sit in Mariah Carey's lap, which is one of those awards show photos that would have gone absolutely viral if it had actually happened.

"The Hero singer then followed up with another tweet, which read: "(me) Dear Meryl, please forgive me!

"That's the future, and we have momentum, and we want to say to everyone that they should join us", she explained.

The company is expected to announce its price as well as the region-specific availability of the new TV series at the event. LG Display is the sole large-size OLED manufacturer now, as Samsung has already shifted its focus to QLED TVs.

Mariah, 47, - who performed at the Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve hosted by Ryan Seacrest - tweeted from the Globes audience about her encounter with the Academy Award victor. "Other than the fact that she's an unbelievable actor, she's also an wonderful singer". "I am such a fan!" said Clarkson upon meeting the actor.

The 47-year-old singer got close to her boyfriend at the InStyle and Warner Bros. I just really love her. As you may have seen during the telecast coverage, Kelly did get to meet Meryl, so the second episode, which was filmed after the Globes and is now live, is all about that.

Clarkson also had raves for Golden Globes host Seth Myers, saying that "if you don't watch Seth Meyers, you're stupid".

In keeping with the spirit of the empowering Time's Up movement, eight actresses will take female activists as their plus-ones to the Golden Globes Sunday night. According to Carey's comments on Twitter, she spent too long mingling on the way back from the bathroom, which resulted in her having to grab the seat next to Steven Spielberg.
