Fortnite Battle Royale map update drops next week

However, the update coming next week will contain one of the largest changes to the game yet, bringing with it a revamped map containing numerous new locations for players to drop in for their bout of looting and scooting.

In the latest developer diary, lead systems engineer Eric Williams states a new city area will be added along with new points of interest.

Last but not least, the Fortnite Battle Royale Map Update will remove the existent Christmas trees along with the chests that were placed beside them. This is largely prompted by the game's free price tag, alongside Epic Games' regular weekly updates ensuring the game is as polished as can be.

A new developer update for Fortnite's Battle Royale mode is up on Youtube and is one that you don't want to miss.

Qualcomm Inc Sentiment Worsening on Low Stock Potential
Following the transaction, the executive vice president now owns 12,035 shares of the company's stock, valued at $824,638.20. United Asset Strategies Inc. bought a new position in shares of QUALCOMM during the second quarter worth about $5,249,000.

We've also separated the map into more clearly-defined "biomes".

Biomes are also a big focal point of the update, as Williamson describes the swamps feeling "swampy-er" and the mountains feeling more "mountain-y". "There's also a bunch of quality-of-life improvements".

You can look over the patch notes for 2.1.0 through the link above. Fortunately, the removal of these will not lower the amount of loot available across the map, as the 3 new areas being added will add even more.
