Though Saif is happy about the film and enjoyed working on it, he even stated that it's unhealthy shooting at nights, as he had to do for KAALAKAANDI, "The health goes for a toss as the shoot was late night and I would sleep during the day. But they make me anxious". Firstly, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) asked for insane number of cuts due to which the makers made a decision to move to the Tribunal.
The trailer of Kaalakaandi reveals the film to be a black comedy of sorts and it was reportedly suggested 70 cuts by the CBFC before it was actually cleared with an "A" certificate, of which Saif told PTI: "The film getting an "A" certificate is justified as sometimes the children should not watch certain films. I don't want my children to listen to abuses". "Let's see what happens".
