Flight of the Conchords to Reunite for HBO Comedy Special in May

The guitar-based digi-bongo acapella rap-funk-comedy folk duo will be returning to HBO for special in May 2018 this year.

Flight of the Conchords' broadcaster HBO confirmed the news this morning saying the special will air in May.

The special event was officially announced today by Casey Bloys, president of HBO Programming. It ran for two seasons.

The comedy special was taped in front of live sold-out audience during their United Kingdom visit, featuring classic songs and originals performed as part of the "Flight of the Conchords Sing Flight of the Conchords Tour".

Nine years after their hit comedy series ended, New Zealand's Flight of the Conchords are returning to television. After that the two came back to HBO in 2007 for the debut season of the series "Flight of the Conchords".
