UFC Fresno Bonuses: Brian Ortega Scoops up $100000

Ortega joined Holloway and Edgar as fighters to submit Swanson in recent years after handing Moicano his first loss in 12 career fights. However, the good news is that he is feeling ok.

Following last night's UFC Fight Night 123 event the recipients of the evening's $50,000 bonus awards were announced. It all happened when former WSOF champion Marlon Moraes connected with a vicious knee to score the victory after just 67 seconds into their fight that aired on FOX Sports 1.

After a competitive first round, Ortega found the win he sought, locking up a standing guillotine as the second round wore down, and forcing the tap in the subsequent seconds.

Aljamain Sterling was at one point one of the highest touted prospects in the bantamweight division but faced some adversity with a two-fight losing streak that broke his undefeated record.

ALJAMAIN STERLING went stiff as a board as he toppled on to the canvas after eating a perfectly-timed flush blow to the chin.

Post-fight, Moraes said he wanted to come right back into the octagon and wished Sterling a speedy recovery.

The fight will be the first time in history that a pair of two-time Olympic gold medalists will fight each other as professionals. He was complimentary of Lomachenko, saying he is "very technical, very quick, very explosive".

This led to Sterling being stretchered out of the arena.

He was then transported to a local hospital for "precautionary measures".

It only took two hours after the fight for Sterling to issue a statement on his condition.

The referee furiously waved the contest off and summoned medical staff as replacement fighter Moraes celebrated his 20th win.

"Hats off to Marlon. Thought I timed the takedown perfectly and he was able to land a nasty knee", he wrote.
