Following the first trailer that debuted at the San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros.

Check out the new Ready Player One trailer below followed by a Q&A with Ready Player One author and screenplay co-writer Ernie Cline.

Steven Spielberg, prolific veteran of the craft that he is, made two movies this year-though we'll have to wait a few months to see the second one. The victor is to be granted full ownership of the OASIS and Halliday's $240 billion fortune. Wade Watts finds the first clue and starts a race for the Egg.

From filmmaker Steven Spielberg comes the science fiction action adventure "Ready Player One", based on Ernest Cline's bestseller of the same name, which has become a worldwide phenomenon. The latest video sheds some more light on the film's plot where one hero tries to save the (VR) world from an evil corporation.

Joining Tye Sheridan (X-Men: Apocalypse, Mud), Olivia Cooke (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, Bates Motel), Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One - A Star Wars Story, Bloodline) and T.J. Miller (Deadpool, Silicon Valley), with Simon Pegg (the Star Trek movies, the Mission: Impossible movies) and Oscar victor Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies, Dunkirk) round out the cast. However, when Oasis creator James Halliday dies and reveals that he's left an Easter Egg for Oasis players to find in the game, an all out war ensues as players seek to retrieve the Easter Egg in order to inherit half-a-trillion dollars as promised by Halliday.

Ready Player One stars Tye Sheridan (X-Men: Apocalypse) as Wade Watts the film's main protagonist, an orphan teen who escapes into a virtual reality game world called the Oasis.
