Ranveer Singh plays notorious cop role in Rohit Shetty's Simmba movie


Long ago, director Rohit Shetty confirmed that he's going to remake Telugu movie "Temper" by taking 50% of its scenes and adding some new scenes in his style. "The heroine of the film is not yet finalised, we will start working on it after Diwali", said Shetty in an earlier interview, according to a DNA report. Co-produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez and Dharma Productions, Simmba is scheduled to arrive in theatres across the world on 28th December, 2018.

While Shetty is riding high on the success of his recent, Golmaal Returns, Singh is now awaiting the release of the controversial Sanjay Leela Bhansali period epic, Padmavati.

Puri Jagannadh's directorial venture Temper which is considered as one the best performance-oriented movies of Young Tiger Jr.

Speculations are also rife that actress Kajal Agrawal, who also featured in the original film, will play the leading lady in Simmba. While it is not a remake, the movie will have some familiar sequences from Temper.
