Starbucks announced today that for a short time, it will be offering Christmas Tree Frappuccinos at stores in the United States and Canada. Starbucks just released the most festive holiday drink we've ever seen & you're gonna want to try it ASAP.

The beverage is essentially a Peppermint Mocha Creme Frappuccino, topped with a green matcha whipped cream in the shape of a Christmas tree.

The drink is only available now through Monday at participating locations.

O' Christmas tree, O' Christmas tree! A strawberry sits atop as the tree-topper, finishing off the most Instagrammable beverage of the holiday season. If you still aren't convinced though, there are plenty of rave reviews on Twitter to convince you.

Will you order the Christmas Tree Frappuccino?

The Frappuccino is just a sweet snack treat, it does not have any coffee in it. I'm a big fan of peppermint anything, but I'm hit or miss with matcha - and I've never considered the two of them flavors that might go together, let alone flavors that would also be combined with cranberry and caramel to boot. The Frappuccino base, although not particularly Christmas-coloured, tasted like pure peppermint-chocolate bliss. Basically, Starbucks took every flavor vaguely reminiscent of Christmas and put it in a cup. For Halloween, we met the Zombie Frappuccino, which included Green Caramel Apple Powder and was topped by pink "brains" whipped cream.

'Verdict: minty and tasty, though not as festive looking as some of the other special frapps like the zombie or unicorn.
