The Lamborghini Urus is the "Super SUV" you'll definitely want to drive

According to Lamborghini, this makes the Urus the fastest SUV in the world.

The Urus will be a bit noisy and might not be allowed outside schools in certain polluted areas because of its 4.0 litre V8 twin-turbo engine, mind, plus it's unlikely the 189.5 miles per hour top speed is ever likely to be hit when it's being bounced over mini roundabouts in Harrogate. The luxury vehicle maker has said that the first deliveries of their new Urus will start in the spring of next year.

The long-awaited SUV comes with a good look at its specifications. There is also a high end infotainment system and a Bang & Olfusen sound system.

With a length of 5.11 meters, the Lamborghini Urus surpasses the SUV coupe from Garching by about 21 centimeters.

Inside, Lamborghini has installed heated electric sports seats in the front, while the rear bench can be folded down to extend the 616 litres of boot space further.

John Giunta, a Lamborghini dealer in Sarasota, Florida said, "Now we live in a different world".

The $200,000 utility vehicle is the Italian company's first since it halted production of the LM002 in 1993.

The four-door Urus, named after the wild ancestors of the Spanish fighting bull, is meant to be more practical and family friendly than Lamborghini's typical high-powered sports cars. Lamborghini is among the last automakers worldwide who has added an SUV or crossover to its portfolio of models.

Urus could be the entry-level model for Lamborghini and the company has estimated the annual sales around 3,500 which are equal to 2016's combined sales of its Huracán and Aventador.

As previously mentioned, Lamborghini has a reputation for creating stylish cars and even though Urus is an SUV, it still ships with a Lamborghini trademark design.

With the launch of the Lamborghini Urus and the pending arrival of the Aston Martin DBX and Rolls-Royce High Side Vehicle, 29,300 units of luxury SUVs are expected to be sold in 2020.
