A recently published patent application suggests that the South Korean giant has been exploring a system that would scan the unique lines on user's palm and use them to display hints in the form of incomplete characters. The technology will then display various letters from the user's password, to help remember the password. The conference runs from February 26 to March 1 in 2018, so we'd expect the Galaxy S9 to be revealed on February 25, if Samsung sticks to tradition. Many tech companies, including Samsung, file for patents but don't necessarily translate in to a product. The company is said to follow the new trend that has been adopted by Apple for the new iPhones and Google for the Pixel smartphones - no headphone jack.
According to LetsGoDigital, the new device would bring new functionality such as side or top notifications.
The phone is likely to retain a number of features from this year's Galaxy S8, including the widely acclaimed Infinity Display.

The Galaxy S9 is still a few months away from the light of day, but that will never stop new information from trickling in. But, this will be very hard as it requires expensive construction materials and also small companies should be careful about patent infringements and simply can't lift technology from rivals, as there is cut-throat competition in the smartphone market.
