During a livestream celebrating the 30th anniversary of Mega Man, Capcom announced that the Mega Man X Collection is coming to current-gen systems, meaning you will be able to play a whole lot more Mega Man games on Xbox One soon (via Kotaku).
The developers spoke about the game on stream and said that they felt that Mega Man needed to be "truly resurrected". The first ten Mega Man games will all be available, complete with amiibo support, giving fans around half a year to play through all ten of the original series games beforeMega and Rush make the jump from 8-bit to 2.5D at the end of the year.
That's right: Mega Man 11! Unanswered questions include "when can we expect to see these games on any of these consoles?"
Cathay Pacific crew saw North Korea missile test
The Hong Kong-based airline said in a statement Monday that the missile was far from the airplane, and operation was unaffected. The flight was heading for Alaska, and was also passing over Japan at the time of the missile test.
Mega Man 11 has been announced for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC, with Capcom unveiling the latest entry in the classic platforming franchise. Capcom's Koji Oda is directing the project, and it seems like Capcom is developing it all in house. There are very few details as of the time of publishing, but it's safe to assume this will come as some sort of compilation, much like the Mega Man Legacy Collection.
We still have a ways to go until we hear more about Mega Man 11, but we'll be sure to keep you updated as soon as more information is released. Can we get another X game in the SNES style now?
