Toll collector Si Si Han, a mother of a 10-year girl, died instantly when a medium-sized rental box truck ploughed through five other vehicles waiting in line at the toll station on the Bay Bridge linking San Francisco and Oakland in its northeast.

Caltrans officials issued a warning to commuters telling them to use BART or other options for travel into San Francisco. I've seen them harm the stall some time recently.

BART officials said they were already at capacity and can not add extra trains to ease the pressures on the morning rush hour. "It's why we need to modernize our train control system".

Other toll booths were damaged in the crash, and Toll Booth 14, the booth where Han was working, "is completely gone", Haus said. Meanwhile, Caltrans crews were working to fix the other booths damaged in the crash.

Traffic at the Bay Bridge remained slow Sunday morning, as four lanes remained closed at the toll booth more than 24 hours after a fatal crash that took the life of a toll booth collector.

Killed in the crash was 46-year-old Si Si Han. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI and manslaughter, CHP officials said.

Berk was hospitalized with serious injuries after being ejected from his vehicle.

Six other cars were involved in the accident.
