Vidya Balan steals the show in quirky new poster of 'Tumhari Sulu'

Without going under a knife, Vidya has worked on her own terms.

However, it's really hard to change people's perspective who think a well toned up body of a woman can only be called glamorous. The film's story revolves around a homemaker who later discovers her talent as a radio jockey and then faces the twist and turns of life. This will be Vidya's second movie of the year, earlier she was seen in "Begum Jaan", which was not very well received by the audience, well "Tumhari Sulu" looks interesting and compelling. The connection between being skinny and being glamorous, or even between not being glamorous and doing women-centric roles only exists because of patriarchal notions. They praised debutante Suresh Triveni's direction along with Vidya Balan's performance and film's storyline. Well, because of her talented acting skills and not because her body weight will suit the character.

Vidya was caught up in an awkward situation when a media person threw a shocking, yet an unexpected question, on her way. It was then that a reporter asked the actress about losing weight.

The reporter asked Vidya, "All your films that we have seen so far, have been women-centric films". But she made a comeback and gave a savage reply.
