Pochettino guided Tottenham to second place last season, finishing above Arsenal for the first time in 22 years.

Tottenham Hotspur central defender Jan Vertonghen was held out of Tuesday's 3-3 global friendly draw with Mexico after he tweaked his ankle in training with the Belgium national team earlier in the week.

Arsenal have won the FA Cup three times in the last four seasons, whilst Tottenham have only two League Cup successes to their name since Arsene Wenger took charge at the Emirates back in 1996.

This term, third-placed Spurs are already four points and three places clear of Arsenal, who trail leaders Manchester City by 12 points.

And Cech thinks Tottenham made huge strides when appointing the Argentine.

Ben Affleck Wanted Matt Damon As Robin in Tim Burton's 'Batman'
There's been a lot of speculation regarding Ben Affleck's involvement in the DCEU as Batman throughout the past few weeks. Kimmel is referring to Matt Damon's recent cameo in Thor: Ragnarok , where he played an Asgardian actor dressed as Loki.

"No I don't think so", he said when asked by Sky Sports whether there had been a power shift in north London over the last few seasons. The Czech goalkeeper also said that Spurs need to win a trophy if they want to prove how far they've come under Pochettino's time as manager.

"The Champions League has been going great for them too with great results against (Borussia) Dortmund and Real Madrid".

"But you need them to perform, you need to feel they are committed to the case, I have to say they come every day, they work and as a team we feel that - although there is a lot of speculation, their contracts are different to everyone else's - you can see they are committed to the team".

There have been some mitigating circumstances, with the Chilean arriving back late from global duty during the summer, and the German hampered by injury, but here we are heading for mid-November and between them they have just two goals and four assists.

"They have young, talented players as well as experienced players".
