IOS 11.2 is now in beta testing and includes Apple Pay Cash for peer-to-peer payments in the U.S., as well as support for HomePod and other changes. iOS 11.2 is expected to be released to the public within a few weeks. While Apple's iPhones are yet to support the maximum 15W speed, 7.5W will still be noticeably faster than the current "slow" wireless charging speeds.
