The Spice Girls, all five of 'em, are reportedly working together for a television special and compilation album due out next year.

The most recent reunion was something called GEM which was supposed to include Mel B (Melanie Brown), Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell with Victoria Beckham and Melanie Chisholm sitting out but Halliwell's pregnancy was said to have deep sixed any immediate plans.

A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "The five of them have been locked in secret talks since the summer, and finally they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion".

And Victoria Beckham is on board too!

"The fact she is on board now is down to how much closer the five of them have become recently".

Interestingly, GM has not quoted any 0-60 times, although we'd guess that the automatic model would be the quicker of the two. GM has not announced pricing yet, although it will certainly be priced higher than the Z06, which starts at around $80,000.

Apparently, the women grew close once again as they all supported Mel B though her ugly divorce and domestic abuse scandal.

As well as Mel's split from Stephen Belafonte, Geri Halliwell's newborn son, Monty, has been dubbed a "uniting force", with the source adding: "Things between them were quite icy at the start of the year".

The pop group originally formed in 1994, before splitting in 2000 following the recording of three studio albums.

"But gradually the ice thawed, and Mel was the one who drove that".

Mel B's tumultuous divorce from Stephen Balafonte is believed to be a factor in the band's decision to get back together, and the birth of Geri's son a year ago is said to have helped thaw relations between the women. "But the team behind the reunion are delighted to have made it to this point".
