Packers aim to reclaim Martellus Bennett's signing bonus

Martellus Bennett quickly extended his feelers after the Green Bay Packers waived him earlier this week.

"After you get waived, you've got that vengeance in your heart, and you're like, 'All right, if that's how you're going to do it then, (expletive) it, let's go ball, '" Bennett said. He had meant to get shoulder surgery. "So I got 3 other opinions from doctors who all said I need to get it fixed".

Bennett said he had "several calls with several different teams" wanting to work him out after he was waived by the Packers.

Bennett's snap count was severely limited last night. Rowe has been dealing with a groin injury for quite some time and Marsh was listed as questionable with a shoulder injury.
