'Veronica Mars' Actor Brad Bufanda, 34, Found Dead


Brad Bufanda, best known for his role on "Veronica Mars", died by suicide Wednesday, his representative confirmed to TMZ.

Los Angeles police said that Bufanda jumped from a building.

Bufanda's manager Kirsten Solem also confirmed the death.

The shooting of the movie started on 18 September in Pune, the team will soon wrap up the shoot in Pune and will move to Mumbai. The actor looked extremely handsome with the close-cropped hair and stubble, a hint of a moustache and the bulging biceps.

The rep for the actor said that the family is asking for privacy at this time. Though Veronica Mars was never a smash hit in the ratings, it has developed into a cult classic favorite show with a legion of devoted fans. "He was reviving his career having just completed two movies, and we are shocked and saddened by his passing".

Bufanda, born Fred Joseph Bufanda, legally changed his first name to Brad in 2001. After high school, Bufanda moved to the City of Angels permanently- Los Angeles. Later he appeared on CSI: Miami, Boston Public and the 2004 feature A Cinderella Story.

At the age of 23, he briefly pursued a career in professional basketball player but after sustaining multiple injuries he went back to acting in 2007. He was later a series regular on Cinemax's Co-Ed Confidential. He was also set to appear in a film called "Stan the Man", due out next year.
