Actor Lou Diamond Phillips was arrested for DUI Friday after driving up to a police during a traffic stop in Portland, Texas and asking for directions.

According to Portland Police, an officer, on patrol, at 1:35 a.m. was on a separate, unrelated traffic stop on Moore Avenue in Portland, when Phillips pulled in behind the officers patrol unit.
The officer suspected he was intoxicated and called another officer to assist, Corey said.

Phillips was taken into custody and transported to the San Patricio County Jail in Sinton, reports USA Today. Jail records show Phillips, who starred in "La Bamba", was later freed on $2,500 bond.
