Almost half a million dishwashers recalled

Citing an issue in its power cord that could be a fire hazard, Health Canada is issuing a recall of 61,000 dishwashers across Canada.

BSH Home Appliances said around 408,000 units of Bosch, Gaggenau, Jenn-Air, and Thermador dishwashers were being recalled.

BSH Home Appliances has received five reports of the power cord overheating.

There have been no cases of property damage in Canada, and no injuries reported in either country. Model and serial numbers are printed on your machine, either on the top of its inner door panel or on the right side of the dishwasher panel.

He added that USA ride services company Lyft had been better priced than rival Uber when his investment firm bought into it. Bitcoin was down 2.3% Monday at $5,847.06 in recent trade, according to Coindesk.com .

Serial numbers of the affected machines-and photos showing where on the machine to find those numbers-are available on the Consumer Product Safety Commission website.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dishwashers and contact BSH Home Appliances for a free inspection and fix.
