2017 marks the 25th anniverary of the Shin Megami Tensei series of games as well. At precisely 1PM GMT, ATLUS's mystery project was revealed to be Shin Megami Tensei V, and that the game will remain an exclusive for the Nintendo Switch. The game is also being made in Unreal Engine 4. Many fans wondered if it would be a HD remaster of an older title, or if it would be a brand new entry in the long running franchise.

Shin Megami Tensei V has been officially revealed by Atlus today in a livestream. The trailer itself doesn't covey a whole lot about the game but it does show off some cool demon designs and gives us a general mood of the game. Then the scene cuts to a carnage of demons in an underground tunnel.

At the moment, nothing else has been shared, besides the fact that the game is for Nintendo Switch.
