Nintendo has announced that Pokkén Tournament DX will be getting an 'exciting new update.' This update adds a recording facility to the practice mode, as well as enhancing the game's online multiplayer features. This update also introduces Official Groups in the Group Match mode, adding the functionality for official online tournaments, which will be lovely if you're into the competitive scene and all that. Players form a team of their favorite Pokemon and duke it out with an opponent's team. Fans will also get the ability to record training sessions to share online and various gameplay improvements. In addition to that, players will now be able to join official groups in Group Match, which in turn will allow them to earn new titles. The idea is simple-players choose three Pokemon and battle it out in a last-man standing type battle. Another interesting feature is the option to control the opposing Pokemon in the Free Training mode, and record its movements with the objective of improving our skills when fighting it afterwards.

Pokkén Tournament DX is available now for Nintendo Switch. No release date for the update has been given, though it will be coming to the system soon.
