That's why it's almost the ideal time for this new trailer, which shows off some of the environments we'll see in the expansion, such as caves, frozen lakes and bodies of water, Banuk caves, and several other austere, bone-chilling areas.
Called the Cut, this forested area to the north of the Banuk homelands separates the two regions. The environment is going to be filled with new machines, freezing temperatures, and even a fourth tribe, with the protagonist Aloy tasked with visiting Banuk camps, trekking across frozen lakes, exploring caves of ice, and much more.

Now, Sony has released a new trailer for Frozen Wilds that shows off some of the environments players will find, including snowswept mountains and icy rivers.
The Frozen Wilds expansion is releasing on November 7 for $19.99. If you prefer, you can pick up the Complete Edition of Horizon: Zero Dawn, which includes the main game and the expansion, when it arrives on December 6. It costs $20, but if you're a PlayStation Plus member, you can pre-order it now for $15.
