Laidlaw has been with the company for 14 years, working on huge BioWare games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

"In my time at BioWare I have been lucky to work with some of the most talented and hardworking people in the industry", Laidlaw writes. Jade Empire's fan acclaim and Dragon Age: Inquisition's high Metacritic (89 on PS4) score?

He had a significant run, contributing to everything from Jade Empire to Mass Effect as well as the three main Dragon Age games.

"It's been an honor to be a part of the Dragon Age team", he said in his statement.

Nagarjuna's Raju Gari Gadhi 2 — Twitter Review
Directed by Omkar, Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is rumoured to be based on the Malayalam film Pretham that released a year ago . And the posters, teaser and trailer got the good response and helped in the advance booking of the film.

Whether Laidlaw has left with a new game in the middle of production isn't exactly clear. No immediate future plans were laid out beyond "reconnecting with all the incredible games and worlds" video gaming has to offer.

To anyone who's taken the time to share feedback and experiences, your awesome cosplays and artistic creations: thank you. You've made my time "in Thedas" unbelievable.

The BioWare community says a tearful goodbye to the man behind some of the most iconic franchises in gaming history. BioWare's main teams are now working on Anthem, which is rumored to be a direct Destiny competitor, with an online open world and RPG elements. In 2010, he was nominated along with BioWare cofounders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk for a British Academy Video Games Award for Story for Dragon Age: Origins. So after 14 years of hard work and a sack on his back with a lot of successful titles, Laidlaw has chose to step off the directing for BioWare and go back to what we all want to do at some point, play the game. Hopefully we'll get to see the fourth instalment of Dragon Age sooner, rather than later.
