Mass Effect: Andromeda, BioWare's much maligned but still surprisingly enjoyable space extravaganza, is the big one on the list, and you'll be able to play it as much as you want if you're subscribed to either Origin Access on PC or EA Access on Xbox One. You'll be able to do all of this - as well as play every other game now available to Access members - as long as you're spending the $5 a month. That's confirmed by one of EA's own announcements, detailing the games and demos that will be added in October through December.
Mass Effect: Andromeda - You're the Pathfinder, the leader of a squad of explorers, and it's your job to find a home for humanity in the alien Andromeda Galaxy. Previous Play First Trials let players keep their save data so they can continue where they left off, so the fact that Battlefront 2 has a proper single-player mode this time should help.
As well as Mass Effect: Andromeda, the Origin highlights are an early "Play First" trial for Battlefront 2 and a similar thing for Need for Speed: Payback. Craft unique rides, escape the heat in epic police chases, and go head-to-head with other racers on- or off-road - all before launch for a full 10 hours.
Amazon's Alexa can now recognize your voice
For instance, if I tell Alexa simply to "play music", she'll start playing songs based on my preferences. Amazon says it'll allow Alexa device owners to "shop confidently" knowing Alexa recognises their voice.
Doing so will get players access to the Play First Trial on PC and Xbox One. It's up to you who your Sims will become and the direction their stories take, and you can start writing their stories before launch day.
Lastly, Dead Space 3 will be entering the Vault, meaning that the entire Dead Space series is now available through EA and Origin Access in some capacity.
