Dragon Ball FighterZ Adds Yamcha and Tien as Playable Fighters

In addition to the reveal of Yamcha and Tien, V-Jump showcased an image of an original character made for the game by Toriyama-Android 21. However, it remains unknown if she will be a playable or non-playable character (NPC) in the game.

As one of the more anticipated fighting games now in development, Dragon Ball FighterZ quickly gained the attention of fight fans through its stellar character design and three-on-three layout. She is a scientist, although no other information about her was provided. It's now unknown what exact role Android 21 will play in the story, but it's said she's an integral figure to the story.

Tien is a high-performance fighter who overwhelms his opponents with various techniques, from Tri-Beam to Dodon Ray, Volleyball Attack, and even assists through Chiaotzu's Telekinesis, which can seal the opponent's movement.

The game publisher also confirmed two new playable fighters and an assist character who will join the growing roster of the game.

The roster is rounding out quite nicely as the game continues to build towards its release in early 2018.

Tien and Yamcha will be playable in this fighting game based on the Dragon Ball manga series, which was created by Akira Toriyama in the 1990s.
