Lawrence calls Aronofsky 'brilliant'


As for Aronofsky, he calls Lawrence a "once-in-a-generation talent". And so, in between action and cut, she's the character, and then when you call cut, she's Jennifer Lawrence again'.

The two have avoided talking about their year-long relationship, but Lawrence hasn't been shy about praising her director-turned-boyfriend while doing press for the movie, about the young wife (Lawrence) of an older poet (Javier Bardem) who is tormented after mysterious visitors (Michelle Pfeiffer and Ed Harris) arrive at their isolated home.

"Mother!" is a psychological horror film, penned and directed by Aronofsky.

The couple met on the set of mother! and have been dating since last September.

The actress admitted that the film was hard to shoot at times, confirming it took a toll on her.

The actress also stated before that her relationship with the director is different from her previous ones saying, "I have been in relationships before where I am just confused", she says, "and I am never confused with him".
