BSEB 12th compartment result 2017 declared, check on www

The pass percentage this year was 71.36%, compared to 40.43% last year, with 93,295 of the 1,30,741 candidates who appeared clearing the examination. The results are published at Indiaresults.com, an official partner website of BSEB to publish results. Previous year the result was declared n the month of December.

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) declared the result for the Compartmental exams of class 12 on Saturday, August 12. The BSEB has conducted the 12 compartment examinations from 3 July to 13 July 2017. The total pass percentage of BSEB intermediate compartmental exam is 71.36 percent which is far better than a year ago result.

Anand Kishore, the BSEB Chairman told the media that upto 2017, compartment examinations were not organised for the 12th class students in the state, but as the number of failing students increased, the board had to take solid measures to help the students, not counting the challenges the board has to face in past 2 years amid topper scam and paper leak reports. Not more than 11 candidates were expelled during the examination for using unfair means, and all of them were from arts stream.Interestingly, girl candidates outshone boys again.

Sources in the police said that three militants were believed to be trapped in residential houses in Astan Mohalla of the village. As per reports 12 persons were injured during the clashes near the encounter site.

Out of 55,798 candidates who appeared from arts stream, a total of 40,593 candidates passed the examination recording a pass percentage of 72.75%.

Out of the 93,295 students who passed the examination, 6,517 passed with first division, 73,977 with second and 12, 801 with third division. Which counts a pass percentage of 71.36% which is more than past year pass rate i.e 40. In commerce stream, 2272 candidates out of 3292 passed the examination, making it a pass percentage of 69.02%. Almost 1,477 students took the exam out of which 637 passed.
