LG rumored to announce Korea-bound V30 Plus alongside regular V30

LG has confirmed that LG V30 will Launch on August 31 at IFA 2017.

LG did that with the G6 and is on the way of doing it with the V30 as well - only the North-American version of the G6 got wireless charging, whereas only the Asian variation of the G6 got Hi-Fi audio on board, which quite possibly irritated a ton of potential adopters.

"LG boasts an unrivaled heritage in smartphone photography and our decision to adopt glass in the V30 camera is specifically because this has traditionally been the realm of DSLRs", said Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. The LG camera phone V30 will be released much before its expected deadline and its blueprint has been leaked online. It is also speculated that the LG V30 camera phone will have the ratio of 18:9 that will be created to cover DCI-P3 colour space up to 109 per cent. Or perhaps it'll be wireless charging in the V30 and Hi-Fi in the V30 Plus.

Other reported specs for the LG V30 series are the Snapdragon 835 chipset (no surprise there), a dual-camera punch of 16MP and 13MP, 6GB in the RAM department and a 3,200mAh battery. This phone will have a few advantages over the V30, but it's probably only coming to South Korea. Beside the wider aperture, the internal construction of LG's new camera will include a glass lens, which is said to deliver sharper, more faithful images, The Verge says. Its expected price tag will be the local Korean equivalent of $875, while the V30 is quite likely getting launched at around $700.

One of the additional improvements LG has made to its V30 imaging is a reduction in edge distortion with its wide-angle camera.
