Blackberry KEYOne launched in India: Know Specs, Features, Price & more

BlackBerry, in partnership with Optiemus Infracom, has unveiled BlackBerry KEYone, the first BlackBerry smartphone to be manufactured by Optiemus in India. The carrier started the sale on the handset initially just for online purchases and direct shipping.

Blackberry has launched a new device with its traditional physical QWERTY keypad.

Discussing the specs, Blackberry KEYOne features 4.5-inch scratch-resistant IPS LCD display with 1080p resolution.

Blackberry KEYone Specifications: The phone works on Android 7.1 (Nougat) Operating System. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner built into the space bar. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC clocked at 2GHz, coupled with 4GB of RAM and an Adreno 506 GPU. A teaser was also posted on social media, hinting that the phone to be launched is the KEYone. Smartphone has an 8-megapixel front camera to take a selfie. It will be available exclusively from Amazon.in starting August 8.

Blackberry launched the limited edition Black colour variant of the KEYone in India, and it costs Rs. 39,990. The company, in September previous year, announced that it will not manufacture phones any more. Instead, its keyboard and software features are its main USPs.
